My name is Ari Roman. I am a filmmaker and event organizer based in Upstate New York. I studied film production at the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University. At my time in Syracuse I was consistently working on set and absorbing knowledge from my peers and mentors. Since then, I am testing my knowledge at every turn. I have worked on 60+ short film sets, 2 feature films, and one web series. Though I specialize in the camera department, I have sufficient experience gaffing, working as a grip, set decorating, costuming, modeling, and in locations department.

 

While pushing my career on set, I have also been directing short films of my own. Below you can see some old school projects such as “The Paw” and “Ameleecan Psycho” as well as some shorts I’ve made outside of that: “Kiss of God,” “V,” “Felix,” and hopefully more very soon!
